Mary was considered the leading lady of cinema. She ranked #24 on The American Film Institute 50 Greatest Screen Legends. Her first Talkie was 1929's Coquette . Mary was the first star to officially place her hand and footprints in the cement of Grauman's Chinese Theatre on April 30, 1927. She was the subject of the first cinematic close-up shot in 1912's Friends. Measurements: 33 1/4-25-36 Mary was the first actress to receive a percentage of a film's earnings. Mary turned down the role of Norma Desmond in Sunset Blvd. in 1950. Mary was in the same stage company as Lillian Gish and Dorothy Gish in the early 1900s. Mary began acting in theatre at the age of six. Her height is 5'0½". Mary is half English and half Irish. Mary is one of the 36 founders of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS).

Has anyone seen this yet? I watched it a few weeks ago. I thought it was pretty good,it could have been better. Kind of had a sad feeling about it.
My next 3 movies are:Sparrows,The Taming of The Shrew and Coquette.
